So really mate she should have gone through the chasing part by now, nothing with her chasing so long as it is controlled, she must stop when you tell her to, IE the stop whistle.
The best way to tackle the problem of her not stopping when told too is get out to her as fast as possible catch her and drag her back to the spot were she was when you blew the stop whistle and put her on the exact spot with a loud sharp STOP whistle again (to reinforce the command).

Dogs as you may already know associate the place they did wrong with doing wrong.

Another little tip to slow her down a bit is when you stop her with the whistle make her sit for about 10 secs beofre giving the next command (not everytime of course, just a few times on each training session) this will make her think a bit more.

If you get stuck give me a ring and i will try and help you along with her.
