im gettin ready for the shooting season, ive just ordered some new waders, and 2 dozen new goose ecoys trying a different kind this year, when i get the pics i will put them up they coming from amercia, i need a new jacet got 2 marsh ones but they a bit battered now, just waterproofed one of them, they dont make the one i want either the same with the waders i want, need a new gun slip for me 8 bore aswell and im thinking of a 20bore for the duck flighting to make it a bit more sporting, the end of the month im going to stock up on cartidges got loads of 10 bore non toxic but they wont go through me auot or pump they too badly rusted on the brass be ok fr me side by side

is there any chance youll be able to give reports of your fowling outings as you go through the season to give us an insight to a fowlers world?

no....i gave them a call but didnt have a gun at the time ..... the bloke i spoke to sed he would pass on my details onto admin or somewhere...never heard a sole since......

keep on to them, its the best way of shooting i think anyway i prefer it to driven game or anything, to have thousands of geese flying above you waiting for your shot and the teal whistlein around flying past you and the mallard and wigeon theirs just something about it, if i didnt do any other kind of shooting that wildfowling id be happy

where is it you go fowling again? Have you ever shot a ringed bird? there was a ringed mallard in our garden yesterday ....but didnt have a camera ready!!

i go all over go out on as many marshes as i can, yeah ive shot quite a few ringed birds, got a lot of duck rings, got rings of canadas, pinks and a swan, i didnt shoot the swan just found it dead, every time i get a ringed bird if its been done by an orginsation like the bto i report it
