maybe worth trying a decoy?
http://www.trapman.co.uk/decoy-bird-scarers.htm
i have had them flock onto an owl decoy with good results- also if there are a few magpies hunting close by i have squeaked them in using a fox call - they are real suckers for it!!!
anytime of the day - magpies are naturally curious birds so anything that catches their eye they will come and investigate |
