went out on the marsh on sunday morning it was a really nasty morning but good for being out on the marsh apart from the hail stone!!! arrived at the car park and had a listen could just hear the pinks calling from a long way out and down the marsh were we dont have access, after sittingin the car for half an hour. we walked out and it was a lot of wind coming in from the sea and across the marsh wich made it worse when the hail and rain started. the good thing was when the geese started moving the wind pushed them right over head and in range to all sides of us, the gun in the pics is a single 8 bore shooting just under 4 ouncze of tungsten

rather your shoulder than mine mate :D still nice to get a good skien of geese over no matter what the weather...

This was my first of the season, not quite the stopping power of your little beauty :D once fired an 8 bore, admire anyone who regularly uses one

was out under the moon aswell last night, i didnt go out on the marsh though still cant take me dog out i dont rekon it will be right till after crimbo, i went on a splash on the fields at the back of the marsh, the night was light and bright but the rain spolit it it made it nasty and cold me jacket did well not to get too wet just on the elbows. the geese were coming off in small skiens its how you want them coming off the only thing was that non come over me and all the ones i saw were too high, could see thousands of wigeon coming past aswell as a few mallard and pintail their was a few duck that were shootable duck its not fun chasing after them and the rain lol didnt get a thing, their was a few shots out on the marsh 3 pinks got shot
