8months seems very young to put onto a wild boar,or is that normal.

good going mate, dog looks good,i always take my pups out when hunting in the day time, there is always a few capable dogs there that get to whatever we are doing first and i just let the pups watch and do what they wish,i think its good for the pups to get used to all the hustle and bustle and the noise of all dogs being there and they soon get used to the situation ,i have seen dogs that have been kept in until 10 months old and then on there3 first day out seem frightened by all the noise of a kill and yapping of other dogs and stand back out of the way,my young russel pup has been coming out with me all season from the age of 16 weeks of age and some days there has been up to 14 dogs out hunting in with me in 1 day,i leave the pup to do what it wants and i have been watching it all season and every time there is a fox caught it is hanging on with the rest of them, its good soicalisation skills for a young pup to be out from a early age i find,i do tie them up from a safe distance when we are digging to a fox and would not let the pup tag along if there was not a few capable dogs there to ensure the pup would not get bit and knock it back a bit or spoil it,good photos mate
