jus set my first lost of snares i brought em yesterday and set em today only used 3 to start see if im gunna get it right if not keep tryin then when i know wot im doin i will set more

good luck to ya mate, forgot how many snares av set over the years and never cort 1 rabbit in any ov them Icon_lol2

my father when he used snares allways buried them for a few weeks in the ground so that it took the shine off them and human scents so they had a earthy smell rabbits are stupid.

that theory about burying them for a while is an old myth.... the soil or dirt would get in between the entwined brass and cause it to rot making them weaker

ive seen them being made and used the very same day with results the following day (wodgas dvd)

i rekon their is a difference in em we dye em cant think of the name of the stuff and just let em hang for a few week before using them. ive buried a load of fenn traps ages ago and for the life of me i cant find em Icon_lol2 every body has their own way of doing stuff though

returned thsi morning bout 6:15 2 were untouched and 1 was knocked so i reset it a little higher and noticed 3 rabbits 2 bolted under the fence and another under the hedge so im back out later to set a few more and hopefully get a result
