took two jills out yesterday with two mates. i never usually take them in the summer months but these warrens are in a feild and really easy to access so i just had to, netted the first holes and entered the ferrets but nothing showing so my mate suggested we left the nets and tried somwhere else so off to the next warren this looked dead as anything most holes full of dead grass so i entered a ferret without netting and yep you guessed rabbit number one bolted and made a clean escape.

third warren ran along side an old boundry wall and only consisted of 4 holes so i entered the poley jill, she kept to ground for 10 minutes and then suddenly two rabbits hit the nets so out they came and straight in the game bag

fourth warren, again it was only a little four holer so we set the nets and entered the silvery jill no sooner had she gone out of sight a rabbit was curled in the net shortly followed by another that makes it four rabbits and three very happy people

we packed up and went back to the first warren we netted and i entered the silvery jill, she kept popping in and out so we decided to have the nets up whilst she ran around, as i was stood over one hole removing the net i could hear a vibration from underground then bang a rabbit bolts so i swang a leg and just missed it. lol what a joke my mates found it highly amusing

four rabbits in the bag and missed two not bad for a 2 hour trip
