any raw meet imo wouldnt feed them cooked meat does any 1 give there ferrets dry ferret food

fresh rabbit,pigeon,crow or pheasant and doc ,mine have dried 24/7

feed mine raw meat good to feed them dry food now because of the amount of flys around. make sure they have plenty of water at hand especally when there on dry food if you feed meat i like to put it in at tea time and take it uot in the morning Icon_wink_smiley75

mine get dry alot o the time but whenever i get anything when out shooting i let them have it, squirell, pigeon, rabbit, crow, dove, phesant

i had some wood pigeon giving me for the ferrets i put them on some news paper and went back to them a couple of hours later .what had crawled out of them onto the paper surprised me ticks lice and some things id never seen before.

i always freeze mine for a couple of weeks ,it kills all the unwanted things off

yes when it comes to feeding birds to my ferrets think i might from now on i do freeze them when feeding to my harris thou Icon_biggrin_smiley75
