Does anyone work a clumber spaniel?just wondered what they were like to work and what the temperment is like?Went to a game fair today and there seemed to be loads of them there!!

never seen one being worked myself although i have heard of people who have worked them when duck shooting and they seem to be steady dogs and good retreivers in water ,only from what i have been told

A friend of mine has worked them for over 20 years, they are real stubbon bast***s to train and i mean stubbon. However if you have the patience of a saint then they are the dogs for you. I'll stick to my labs :icon_biggrin_smiley75:
