I had a call recently to clear some rabbits from the local park :icon_biggrin_smiley75: They had dug under the cenotaph steps and were generally causing a right mess.
After having a good look aroud it appeared that there were 3 holes at the front and a well hidden bolt hole at the back in amongst the plants :icon_bye1:
In went 'Daddy Cool' (The pic of her was taken earlier this week)
And out came two rabbits within about 5 minutes after lots of thumping around underneath! They were despatched and off we went to the next set - under the shed where all the tools are kept. It was the first time Ive set my new longnet properly (Made by Mole Catcher from THL :icon_biggrin_smiley75: ) and a damn good net it is too!
In went Daddy Cool again and we got four out of the net within 15 minutes - we had a few public spectators too which was a bit un-nerving (hence the lack of action shots :icon_angry: ) but I had my written permission just in case! I phoned the park warden who came and took four of the rabbits off my hands :icon_bye1: and the dogs are still enjoying the last two!
Well - it is christmas eve after all! And what a great way to spend the morning! |

imagin if the ferret made a kill down the warren ! you would have to had waited for ages lol ! |

| It turns out one of the onlookers phoned the police :icon_blink: They've just been to my mates door (We went in his car) and informed him that you need permission to hunt!! :icon_59: He was pleased to let them know that we're all above board and have all the necessary paperwork to back it up! :icon_biggrin_smiley75: The police want us to take all our permission to them so they have a copy for the next time we're there - no problem :icon_good: Especially if it means we dont get hassle!! |
